The religious place of Sirmaur district will be connected to Churdhar ropeway. The state government is exploring the possibilities of building a ropeway from Sarahan and Nauhradhar. Tenders have been given to companies exploring the possibilities of ropeway. Industry Minister in Himachal Government, Harshvardhan Singh Chauhan said that Churdhar is a religious place in Sirmaur district where lakhs of tourists come every year from Himachal, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Haryana. Since there is no road facility in this area, devotees have to face a lot of problems. Harshvardhan Singh Chauhan said that the Himachal government is preparing a plan to connect this area with ropeway, the estimate of which will be prepared and sent to the central government for approval. As soon as the approval is received, a ropeway will be built here so that more and more tourists can come here
