41-year-old ITBP jawan Sandeep Kumar of Dehra, Kangra district died suddenly while on duty in Jammu. As soon as this news reached his home, a wave of mourning ran in the family. Sandeep Kumar was the only support of his parents. His demise has brought a mountain of sorrow to the family. Sandeep Kumar’s father Balbir Singh told that he had come home on 17th December after the death of his grandmother and returned to his duty on 20th December. Suddenly information came from Sandeep’s unit that his son has fallen ill and has been admitted to the hospital in Jammu. On receiving the information, family and relatives left for Jammu, but before reaching there, jawan Sandeep Kumar died. At present, information about the reasons for Sandeep Kumar’s death has not been revealed. According to administrative officials, Dehra SDM Shilpa Bekta and MLA Kamlesh Thakur have expressed condolence on the death of the jawan, along with DSP Anil Thakur said that the dead body of the jawan has reached Dehra, which is kept in the hospital. The last rites of the soldier will be performed today. Sandeep Kumar leaves behind his parents, wife and 10-year-old son.
