The police administration has taken a big step to improve the security and traffic system in Dharamshala city. Now 253 CCTV cameras will be installed in the entire city. The main purpose of these cameras is to follow traffic rules, keep an eye on illegal activities and investigate the facts of any incident. The police administration has said that in today’s time, use of smart technology is necessary to maintain security. It is not possible to deploy police everywhere, so every activity will be monitored through CCTV cameras.
With these cameras, people who violate traffic rules like overspeeding and driving without helmets will be punished. Also, it will be easier to find out the truth after any accident or incident. Cameras will be installed at places where there is heavy traffic, accidents or sharp turns. This will improve the traffic system and the local people will feel safe. Additional SP of Kangra district Veer Bahadur gave information about this initiative. He told that earlier some CCTV cameras were installed, but now their number has been increased to 253. These cameras will keep an eye on all matters like traffic, crime and security. This will help the police administration to work in a better way and immediate action will be taken against those who violate the rules. The new arrangement will not only improve the traffic system, but the people living in Dharamshala and tourists will also feel safe. Besides, crime incidents will also be controlled and the police will get concrete evidence, which will make it easier to take action against criminals. This step is an important step towards making Dharamshala a safe and orderly city.
