As part of the campaign against the drug, the Sirmaur police today taunted the heroine smugglers in the joint action of the SIU and the police station constituted under Paonta sub -division. During this time, police teams have arrested 32.08 grams of heroin and some cash from the accused at different places and arrested 3 accused including women. In the first case, the team of SIU District Sirmaur, on the basis of secret information, the driver of Scooty (HP17G-5985), Vishal (25) son Shyam Lal resident ward number-10 post office and Tehsil Paonta Sahib District Sirmaur, Jal Shakti Sub Divisional Office 16 grams of heroin and 2550 rupees cash were recovered near Sahib .In the second case, the team of Police Station Paonta Sahib has recovered 8.8 grams of heroin from the possession of a woman on the basis of secret information. Police had received information that the woman works to sell drugs from her house. On this, the team recovered the heroine by raiding the house of Pinky wife Deep Ram alias Deepu resident ward number-10 Devinagar, Tehsil Paonta Sahib District Sirmaur. In the third case, on the basis of secret information, the police team has recovered 8 grams of heroin from Sanvwar Ali alias Sonu son Akhtar Ali resident village Kunja Grant Dak Dak Dak Dak Dakasnagar Tehsil Vikasnagar district Dehradun Uttarakhand. A case of NDPS Act has been registered against all the accused. DSP Manvendra Thakur said that the police have arrested 3 people including a woman in different cases with chitta and cash. Against whom further action is being implemented.
