A big news has come out from Himachal Pradesh, where former Congress MLA Bambar Thakur was attacked on Holi day. The miscreants fired 12 rounds of bullets at the former MLA, injuring him. He was admitted to the hospital after the incident. The police is investigating the case and searching for the accused. Police officials quoted that former MLA Bambar Thakur was present in his house in Bilaspur and was playing Holi. During this time, unknown assailant took weapons and entered inside his house and fired. The former MLA was shot in the leg, injuring him. After the attack, Bambar Thakur was referred to Indira Gandhi Medical College Shimla. Bilaspur Superintendent of Police (SP) Sandeep Dhawan informed the media about the incident. He said that former MLA Bambar Thakur and two people were injured during the alleged firing in Bilaspur. Sanjay, PSO of Bambar Thakur, has been referred to AIIMS and former MLA to IGMC Bilaspur.
After this incident, the local police reached the spot and is investigating the case. Police have laid siege across the city to catch the attackers. Vehicles are being checked. The video is going viral on social media about this incident.
