Industry, Parliamentary Affairs and Labor Employment Minister Harsh Vardhan Chauhan performed the land worship of 100 -bed civil hospital building to be constructed from 19 crores in Shillai today during the stay of District Sirmaur.
During this time, the Industries Minister said in his address that soon the construction work of this building will be completed and dedicated to the public, after which there will be 100 beds for the convenience of the patients in the civil hospital, Shillai.
Harshvardhan Chauhan said that under the leadership of Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, infrastructure and staff facilities are being expanded in hospitals in remote areas on priority basis so that people of rural areas do not have to go to hospitals far away for treatment.
He said that in the coming time due to strengthening of the hospitals of the state, the people of the village will not have to be denied treatment due to financial constraints.
He said that patients from far-flung areas come to the civil hospital Shillai for their treatment, in such a situation, it is very important to strengthen the facilities in this hospital, in view of this, the vacant posts of nurses including subject specialist doctors will soon be filled in Shilai Civil Hospital.
He said that in the current situation, the patients of the area had to go out for their treatment and after the construction of 100 bed hospitals, the residents could be provided treatment in Shillai itself.
He said that recently, a digital X-ray plant of 25 lakhs has been inaugurated by him in Civil Hospital Shillai, after which the people in the hospital are getting colorful X-rays.
He said that the vacant posts of about 300 teachers have been filled in the educational institutions of the assembly constituency, through which qualitative education is being available to the children of the area in these educational institutions.
He said that Shillai is taking the form of the city, in view of which it has been declared a Nagar Panchayat so that construction can be ensured here in a planned manner. He said that DPR of 68 crores has been sent for Shillai for approval, out of which 28 crore is proposed for sewerage and 30 crore water and other facilities.
Apart from this, he informed that about 250 crore development schemes are implemented for basic facilities like road, irrigation and drinking water and education, health and electricity in Shillai assembly constituency, which will benefit the people of the assembly constituency as soon as they are completed.
After this, the Industries Minister also heard the problems of the people in the Shillai rest house of the Public Works Department. During this time, officers of various departments were also present with them.
